Featuring Sofnny : Would you be my Valentine?

To the couples all over the world, Valentine's Day would surely be one of the celebrations of the year. For the true love that is found, for the happiness and sorrow that is shared, for the existence of another half that makes your life meaningful once again.

Despite the convention of celebrating Valentine's Day on 14 February every year, why wouldn't we make every single morning, awaken by the sunshine that showers your room with much enthusiasm, a blissful Valentine's Day? I believe most of us would share the same view.

For the singles out there, Valentine's Day would be your hate-to-the-core day ever. For the lack of companion to express your overflowing love, for the loneliness that strike you when you least expect it, Valentine's Day serves as a cruel reminder.

If you ask me, it is very much dependent on how do you see it altogether. Gathering a bunch of friends, hanging out in malls, sipping red wines on soft couch or having some pillow talk, you just need to name it. Why would you stifling yourself with pessimism when you have bunch of friends or a family that would stand by you during sunny and rainy days?

All the more you should celebrate Valentine's Day, even though you have not found the One. Make it a day to show your love to your family and friends. Spend some quality time with them and you will make their days and they will make yours.

Happy Valentine's Day to young and old, to the couples and singles, to You and Me!

  4. HitOmi,

My lovely wife and I shared a wonderful high tea at Sweet Afton Tea Room, http://www.sweetaftontearoom.com/. On a cold -5C noon, we enjoyed some yummy chocolate hazelnut tea, finger sandwhiches, and warm scones with Devonshire cream and lemon curd!

Since we both are working on Valentines day we celebrate with a warm meal with Filipino comfort food at our favourite Filipino eatery.

I trust you will be able to at least talk with you bf on valentines day!

He may be far away, but hopefully both of you are close in thoughts!

    David

    1. Glad to hear you and your wife had a great dining experience :)

Instead of the premium dining, we just dined at a nearby restaurant for some healthy dinner, before we headed home to chill.

      Everyday should be Valentine's no?
