Coincidentally, my mom managed to get a week off for quitting the old job, after deducting her annual leaves. Congratulation to my mom!! At last, she managed to draw herself from the bitchy boss.
So basically now, my mom and I were having one week more before my last semester starts, and for her, before she starts working on 1st of March , 2008.
Thanks to my mom for bringing me out for vacation, although it was kind of short, for it was only 2 days and one night, it is quite ample to go alor star.
The famous tourism spots are Muzium Padi and Alor Star Tower. I went to the first but not the latter, for the reasons that we had no more time for it, we need money, and it is more or less like KL tower. Considering I actually went to Muzium Padi, it certainly did the satisfaction of viewing the Alor Star on bird view.
Muzium Padi is a good spot to have a picture of how exactly Alor Star looks like. The drawing in the museum is amazing for it realness, but the effect will tend to wear off as you started to look into it for 15minutes, perhaps?
At the first look, you will say "Whoa!!This is as real as it is." but soon after you see all the details of the drawing itself, maybe you will tend to get bored.
Muzium Padi serves a platform for the visitors to have their pleasure of looking at their one and only one long stretch of Alor Star geography and customs that the locals preserve, by preparing comfortable seats for visitors, while the platform will start to spin by itself. The ticket is quite economic. Guess what? It's only RM3, but one thing that I must mention here, YOU CAN'T TAKE PICTURE!!However, once you paid them another RM2 extra, you will have the courtesy to take whatever you want. The RM2not only covers the shooting at the drawing, it covers the lower areas of showroom too. So it is quite worthwhile. If you are so miser not to pay that RM2, I bet you will simply go home with nothingness. There is no something that you can share with others.
Here, I have few shoots of the stretch of drawing.
Take Your Time and Enjoy, and Pay NOthing!!
Here is the market that the Malays and locals frequent to...If you want a closer look, this will do.
There are many banana trees round.
Trading of rice can be seen here, as Kedah is the place which produces our rice. Follows by a closer look.
You can see the traditional atap house that the locals live into and there is rainbow too!!
The ladies farmers are doing their routine take care of the growing padi in sawah.
Not forgetting to take one picture of me there and also my accompany!!
Another market, perhaps.
Farmers are working in their sawah.
There is a procession heading to the house, which holds marriage dinner.
There are more pictures in the showroom, wait for my Next post!!

What follows after determining the real date of election, all the political parties has been arduously preparing themselves to gain more votes, simply by frequent visits to public places, occasions, and overwhelming numbers of flags, banners, buntings, which used to "decorate" the surrounding of each area.
During the trip to Alor Star, we eventually met with one of the participants of this so-happening event while we were having our dinner at street-side.
Let's appreciate what the parties have done their parts in their pre-election effort.

When a Girl is not arguing ... she is thinking deeply.
When a Girl looks at u with eyes full of questions .. she is wondering how long you will be around.
When a Girl answers ' I'm fine ' after a few seconds ... she is not at all fine.
When a Girl stares at you ... she is wondering why you are lying.
When a Girl lays on your chest ... she is wishing for you to be hers forever.
When a Girl wants to see you everyday... she wants to be pampered.
When a Girl says ' I love you ' ... she means it.
When a Girl says ' I miss you ' ... no one in this world can miss you more than that.
Life only comes around once make sure u spend it with the right person .... Find a Guy,who calls you beautiful instead of hot,who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will stay awake just to watch you sleep. Wait for the guy, who kisses your forehead, Who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats, Who holds your hand in front of his friends, Who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares about you and how lucky he is to have you, Who turns to his friends and says, ' That's her!! '

excluding those who has married and forced to give ang pao...(a)some are reluctantly but just for the sake of tradition, they abide...(b)some are willingly..but considering the ratio of a:b..how much you think it will be? i will rate it 9.5:0.5.wakaka!!
how much you have been getting anyway? are you satisfied with your fortune this ratty year?
hoho....you may choose not to respond to the first question, but not the second one. Pity me...i only getting around 400 bucks this year. Whether it is satisfying or not, i will say it is satisfying. We can't be too greedy over this right? However, the more you get it is your luck la...but remember one thing o! the ang pao is an exchange between your parents with your relatives. Frankly speaking, it is your parents' money that flows into your pocket!
50 bucks to me is a big ang pao and i am getting few of it.
Parents' ang pao maybe your biggest after all.
yesterday when i went to work, i managed to get ang pao from the boss. Yeah!! so thank you! Not forgetting i have another one from my student's mom!! It simply made up my day! although yesterday i was being "fong fei gei" by my three students...It is not too bad after all!
Unlike today, again i work but another place. I have none. Some more one of my students quit. Fine to me because i will be quitting next month too.Forget about sad stuff, today my mom's friend, unexpectedly, gave us a 5o bucks ang pao!! my mom simply so shocked! she claimed that she only gave her 5bucks...haha...50 minus a zero...
Chinese New Year has four more days more.
hope i managed to go visit some of my friend's house and collect more ang pao!!
Work harder o!! (of course collecting ang pao la~)

Halo, everybody! Good evening...the one who is speaking here is Hitomi...
15 days of Chinese New Year has been so short, it seemed. Now, today, is ninth day itself.
Wa si hok kien lang...are you??
So definitely, today itself is a significant day to all Hokkien, even others who are not hokkien know this very well too.
The tradition of Bai Ti Gong itself has a story of origin.
The story took place in China. During the Second World War, Japan invaded China and brutally killed any Chinese that they came across. This had caused a massive trauma to all the people in China. Some of the villagers were resolute enough that they themselves should save their own lifes. Thus, they decided to take refugee in the Sugarcane farm nearby, even though it was chinese new year. They stayed and survived in the sugarcane farm until the Japanese army left after scrutinizing the area. The villagers were glad that they actually survived from the ill fate and it was because of the Ti Gong (heavenly God) that granted them lives and prosperity. So until now the tradition continues...every ninth day of Chinese New Year, hokkiens will serve Ti Gong with food and always-the-not-forgettable sugarcane that actually played significant role in helping them to escape.
As i told you, i am hokkien. So definitely my family will show your gratitude to Ti Gong too.
on the Eighth day of Chinese New Year, my mom took a day leave and stayed home to prepare all the necessary things as a tribute to Ti Gong. Before the clock struck 12, we set up the tables and everything was well prepared and displayed. The only moment that we waited was when the clock struck 12, as it means the start of ninth day itself. We started to pray and burn the Kim Chua ( MOney Paper which is nicely folded into various kind of shapes; my dad had them nicely folded into the shape of Yuan Bao; blek...i also know how to do!). The ceremony was done after all of the praying and burning. Many families also grabbed this day itself to play fire crackers and fireworks...I always wonder how much does the firework cost..how come they all so rich to buy?? Never mind now... as long as i have free show to see...keke!!
what follows, of course, is the moment of tidying all the things, cleaning floors etc. After everything is done, at last, i can have a good night sleep! haha... Good night then... (errr... shouldn't i say good morning?since it is 2am...)
Hope this year is a good year with prosperity, and luck.

Have you ever heard of these? I bet you do. If you don't, it is sad that I would say: " Blimey!! How could you know none of these? These are the hottest movie in town, and in Malaysia..."
I have watched both of them. So what may probably revolving in your mind is, which one is the best of all.
Well…personally I like KFD more than CJ7. For fear that you may not know what does KFD stand for, it is Kung Fu Dunk.
The well-known comedian, Stephen Chow, directs CJ7 while the newly burgeoned director, Jay Chou, directs KFD.
The story of CJ7 revolves around the UFO (Unidentified Flying Objects), which has been coincidentally rummaged out of the garbage dump by Stephen Chow (father) and being presented to his son as a toy.
The son and father live in a vacant demolished building. The father works in building site. Even though they are poor, the father persists to end his son to renowned school. The foods they eat, the things they wear and use, are all rummaged from the garbage dump. The son has always hoped to have a toy by himself but due to their living condition, the father definitely helpless in satisfying his son’s longing. The discovery of the greenish has really enlighten the son’s life.
At first CJ7 is inhabited in the greenish ball but the son has accidentally activated the ball and it turns out to be the adorable cutie CJ7, as the son named it so. CJ7 has Full elasticity, and equipped with the amazing power of reviving both dead and living things, which remained unknown to both the father and son.
An accident that has happened on the father has brought his life to an end. This part is the most heartbreaking part, with full sorrow and calamity. The son is unable to accept the fact that his father is dead. Miraculously, his father indeed revived and comes to life because CJ7 insists to use all his power to revive him, albeit it will die due to running out of power. In the end, CJ7 turns into a real toy, lifeless.
If you want me to rate it, I would say 5over 10. Perhaps Stephen Chow has been too old for new ideas, and this movie turns out to be lack dramatic. Overall the flow is so inane, that you will be surprised after you see the movie ends like this. Well…my first impression is : “ is that all?”
Next, KFD is more appealing to me. The story commences with Jay Chou as a baby, who has been dumped in a deserted mowing machine, as what I presumed. He is being brought up in a Kung Fu academy. Thus, he is taught with Kung Fu. He fortuitously bumped into Eric Tsang and he decides to exploit him as Jay can shoot into a target without mistake.
Brawl ensues of which Jay is expelled by the Kung Fu academy due to his mischief. Eric is clever enough to avail himself some fortune by exploiting Jay to play basketball, in tandem to find Jay’s parents whom has abandoned him long time ago.
Soon Jay has become renowned of shooting with great precision. Conflict of interest arises as gangsters blackmail Eric to sell Jay to them. The most eye-catchy and breathtaking part is the basketball matches. Initially Jay’s team lose because another team use hoaxes. At the critical moment, he reminds of the Kung Fu that his deceased Sifu has taught him while he is still young. He managed to utilize it to rewind the time and in the end, he has succeeded to make his team win with dignity.
After winning the match, Jay’s father comes to him to ask him to take over his worldwide companies’ business. Again, conflict sets in. Alas, Jay is willing to let go of fame, and wealth and be acquaintance with Eric again.
The moral of this movie is remember those who has helped you in the past, or the Chinese says, ying shui shi yuan. I would heartily rate this movie as 9 over 10.
This movie not only injected the elements of action, it also brought in some comedy features to make this movie thrilling and witty.Perhaps Stephen Chow is far too arrogant or overconfident to say he would win Jay's movie and has care less for his quality of movie...Again, we should learn to be humble.
For those who have not watched KFD and CJ7 and are hesitating which one you should watch, you should go for KFD first.

The shopkeeper quietly points to the only sign in English that reads,
'GUARANTEE NO SPOILT'.
Feeling assured, he paid for the CD player and returns to his hotel. He tried to use the CD player after returning to the hotel but it would not even switch on.
He quickly return to the shop and asked for a refund or an exchange for another unit. When the shopkeeper refuse to give either, the man points to the sign assuring him of a guarantee.
The shopkeeper then said, 'Brother, you are in China . We read from the right to the left.'

My previous attempts to post it on www.lelong.com.my and www.mudah.com.my have somehow being failed as i have not receiving any response of authorisation on my post. POsting it here may be my last resort...not only i wish to promote my blog and also to sell off the things.
Exasperation overrule my patience anyhow. Someday you will know...
This year is the year of Ratty...it reminds me of the Ratatouille...the movie starring by an animated mouse, which craves for the best cheese ever and willing to give all out to have a bite on it..
A brand new year means a year older to me...Sad...now i am 20.
How fast it has been...now it is my second year second semester break...
still got the one last and final semester to go, and THEN i will be graduated as a diploma holder for Business Studies ( Accounting )
Basically i will have almost one month holiday before the start of the final semester..I wonder how it will be like...easier to be?or harder as it seems?
I know i have two more subjects to go..Company Law ( which is the toughest subject as commented by Ms Pari, our former Business Law lecturer and tutor) and another yet-to-be-known subject.
Ms Pari has been the best teacher that i personally like. The way she taught, and her way of answering questions, which are undeniably helping me, and perhaps the rest of you, in the previous Business Law paper. She makes me believe in one thing - repetition makes perfect. That is exactly how she manages to remember the cases, acts etc etc...i really impressed and somehow salute her...last but not least, thanks for her guidance.
I really hope that she can teach us COmpany Law. HOwever, considering the possibility of it, i only dare to say 50:50. For what we, as DAC2B have presented ourselves in Business Law lectures, maybe she is feeling so fed up to teach us anymore as we, surely not me, seemed to be not appreciative to what she has done for us in previous semester. I Really feel helpless if that is her impression on us.
Whatever it is, i hope everything will be going very well in this brand new 2008.
To conclude this post, i wish everybody enjoy this festive days of fifteen.

Next time when you see someone (stranger) using a Digital Video Cam or Digital Camera pointing at you, don't think you are pretty and gorgeous. You are in danger in fact!! You might land yourself as a 'starring' or 'porn actress' in the XXX web-sites showing your naked body all over the world unawared.

Nowadays, technology in using high-tech cameras fixed with a type of lens called PF LENS, which can see through clothings. The PF LENS is able to see through most types of clothes, for example, thin clothes, tight clothes, sun dresses, swimsuits and so forth.
Be awared that this means that the person taking a snap on you can actually see your naked body both 'upper & underpart' through the external garment.
In other words, the PF Lens allows the camera man to 'see through' someone's clothes.
Suggest that whenever you suspect some strangers holding a camera or Digicam pointing at you, try to avoid facing him (face to face). Quickly use your handbag or any shopping bags in hand to cover your whole front body (in case), Next, escape from the scene as soon as possible. This is to save a situation from landing yourself into the hands of evil.
Recently, many girls and housewives' naked photo were vastly distributed in the internet websites without them knowing. Perverts intentionally move around places where ladies usually frequent and took their nude shots.

The equipment used to capture your ATM card number and PIN are cleverly disguised to look like normal ATM equipment. A 'skimmer' is mounted to the front of the normal ATM card slot that reads the ATM card number and transm its it to the criminals sitting in a nearby car.
At the same time, a wireless camera is disguised to look like a leaflet holder and is mounted in a position to view ATM PIN entries.
The thieves copy the cards and use the PIN numbers to withdraw thousands from many accounts in a very short time directly from the bank ATM.
Equipment being installed on front of existing bank card slot.
The equipment as it appears installed over the normal ATM bank slot.
The PIN reading camera being installed on the ATM is housed in an innocent looking leaflet enclosure.
The camera shown installed and ready to capture PIN's by looking down on the keypad as you enter your PIN.
It is IMPORTANT to every ATM card holder to know the real fact!! Don't you regret if one day you found out that your ATM card has no longer has one cent!!
